Ryan

I was born in Florida and spent most of my early life in Connecticut, later defecting to Long Island for the sophistication and intellectual rigors of Hofstra University (just kidding, I'm not even sure they sent me my diploma) I've had a blast starting and selling companies for over a decade, and have been fortunate to live in two of the best cities in the world as well as San Francisco. I like driving any vehicle I can get my hands on. Though weirdly, I've gotten in more trouble in golf carts than in race cars. Fun fact: from the age 3 to 11 I ate every meal with chopsticks, including breakfast.

Liz

I was born in Brooklyn and grew up in NJ with my incredible parents, sister Tori, and a slew of animals. I moved to NYC as soon as I graduated college (waddup Delaware), and love this city. I've been doing some combination of sales, marketing, biz dev, and operations for tech companies for years, and am both lucky and thrilled that I get to learn and be around smart, motivated people everyday. I like to scuba dive, run, cook, box, and read long-form articles. I'm always cold. I love bloody rib eye steaks, dogs, documentaries, and guessing the bill total at restaurants and grocery stores.

Our Relationship

Liz and Ryan met in Groupon's San Francisco office in 2015. While the thought of ending up together didn't immediately cross Liz's mind, Ryan began planning their life together almost immediately. Several months and many failed attempts by Ryan to get Liz's attention later, they had their first date in Chicago. A few months later the two found a home together in the West Village; and less than a year after that they were engaged in Vienna, Austria. Now Ryan and Liz live in the West Village with their furry son Otis.

**Note: Ryan wrote this section, not me. I'm not that much of a jerk.
